Group: Cloud Computing, SaaS & Virtualization Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? CC is not just an on-demand service. I'd explain it in a simple way by comparing it to the Internet. What does CC add to the Internet? In CC you can make use of the processors that are far away. It is similar to having a supercomputer in your hands. Another point of difference is the "abstraction" concept: your files are stored somewhere in the Cloud, where? You don't know. Similarly, you don't know where are the processors, or any used resources, located. Posted by Soha
