Group: Cloud Computing, SaaS & Virtualization Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? A partner of ours described that the way he explains cloud to his customers is the hotel scenario. You're just renting the space that you need, and you can customize it with what you want - a TV, jaccuzzi tub, etc. You know exactly what you're going to be paying for the time that you're there and what you get, and you can always downgrade/upgrade when you need to. I think this is a good example but I have to say - I LOVE the money example described above, RE: keeping your money in the bank vs. in your office. LOVE that, I am definitely going to use it!
