Agree with Tom Camp's explanation above, cloud is "using service (IT services, infrastructure, application, platform) just as you do other utility services" the edge that I would like to highlight is the cost model i.e. pay as you use, and pay only for as much as you use. Moreover the scalability options are pretty simple, as most of the cloud solutions offer dashboard type utilities to add, remove or edit resources. Have seen the demonstration of IBM cloud solution, and it sure is a preliminary picture of the things to come :) Posted by Muhammad Asif
