Group: Cloud Computing, VMware, Virtualization and Enterprise 2.0 Group Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? The main thing is simplifying the technical terms. If you start talking about more than one servers people(naturally) get lost. So what I use is basicly drawing circles and adding the application name (not the server) in each of them. The basic fact about the cloud computing is the continuity. If weblogic app continues to work, then there is no problems for executive staff. Just having a look at the conversation my 2 cents goes for a private clouds. I think in cloud computing we haven`t gotten to the security stage where we can share inhouse confidential information, yet!. Posted by Özgür Özdemircili
