A cloud network (based on an extremely virtualized design) uses much less datacenter space, for example I have reduced my current companys datacenter space by 50%. If I had used at a previous company it would have reduced datacenter space by 80% plus. This is a savings of $100K plus per month. My cloud is up to 350+ virtual servers in 2 datacenters running 99% virtualized servers. Exchange, Sharepoint, SQL Server, Windows Domain controller servers, almost anything you can name and has been running for over 3 years. No marketing puff here. Posted by Rick Parker
