But this computer concept is still vague as to the general public. A phenomenon increasingly scale in companies, and that the public starts to know in the form of remote storage services, or music streaming. Cloud computing is to access computer resources which are somewhere, over the internet. For example when using the webmail, Hotmail, Gmail or other, it is of the cloud. The advantage of the cloud is that it pays to storage consumption. It is the same type of gas or electricity billing. It paid to that is consumed. Very advantageous for small businesses, this allows to launch a service without any capital investment in hardware. Weakness of the cloud, it is that the data are held by a small number of firms, and that access is based on the maintenance of an internet connection. And for the general public could not know where the data are stored. The cloud to outsource the computing power, storage capacity. to conclude on cloud computing is the future.
