Group: Cloud Computing, VMware, Virtualization and Enterprise 2.0 Group Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? Hi John... I don't think anyone has tried to convince or sell in the discussion thus far... Regarding enterprise class adoption of cloud, 500 of the fortune 1000 are currently heavily engaged in cloud projects.. 40% of those engaged in cloud projects are building new data centers in support of their cloud initiatives... Those are Gartner numbers for what its worth. I don't think the largest corporations on earth require any convincing. It appears these companies are already convinced.
