Group: Cloud Computing, VMware, Virtualization and Enterprise 2.0 Group Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? @Jan: IBM sold to anyone with a credit card power on demand, as Sun Microsystems did ('it is commodity" J.S.), apart from provisioning/reserving HW resources, you could buy range of other services online, all that before Cloud term was coined. The cloud is just a picture in a slide of presentation that hides complexity of technology and technical terminology behind it, makes it easier to accept. Posted by Saša Mirković
