Group: Cloud Computing, VMware, Virtualization and Enterprise 2.0 Group Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? I say it's just a marketing buzz word for something that dates since computer got network interface and network protocols. How long are people being able to logon to a remote system? So basically with cloud term, for a sole purpose to sell, sales force reinvents something that is already there and have been for a long time. And that's why cloud is not a product, it's a term for a set of very nice new technologies that fit along nicely and sell better if wrapped in the cloud story. But if you understand, you know that cloud, in fact, is just a fog companies and sales force are spreading with a sole purpose to convince customers to buy. Posted by Saša Mirković
