Group: Cloud Computing, VMware, Virtualization and Enterprise 2.0 Group Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? YAH.......Yet Another Hype? With that in your mind you understand the many definitions that are presented and the great confusion around it. Personally I would say "Due to improved internet connections and increased mobile connectivity there is a tendency to move computer power, applications and services from one own site to service providers." We have already been doing this with websites etc for years and now it is time for other parts of our work. As always we look at costs, security and reliability. So nothing new, just a logical continuation of what we have been doing for some time already. Posted by Hans Keesom
