Part of my function with Dell is to explain cloud both internally and externally. The challenge with a technical audience is that many of the attributes of cloud are present in other non-cloud solutions. So we home in on the key differentiators and they are firstly some form of self-service portal and secondly elasticity. These may take a number of forms and to apply to Salesforce.com you would look at the functions of the person managing the account within the company. They would manage users through a portal and also regularly review the number of licensed users. So they have both functions but maybe not with the immediacy that we have come to expect from Cloud.
