Group: Cloud Computing, VMware, Virtualization and Enterprise 2.0 Group Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? There are both cloud PROVIDERS and Cloud CONSUMERS. In a Private Cloud (or even Hybrid) you are BOTH. IMO, the most benefits come from being a consumer of Public Cloud where the onus of ownership (depreciation, housing,maintenance etc. of compute assets) is on someone else.
