Group: Cloud Computing, VMware, Virtualization and Enterprise 2.0 Group Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? I'm just having a little difficulty understanding why, since nobody can seem to find fault or argue with the NIST definition (at least the opening paragraph - because the full page and a half is lengthy,) that there is any necessity to re-invent the wheel, particularly when there are innumerable repetitions of the "Google / SalesForce / Over-the-Internet / Same-as-Time sharing / Just Marketing Hype" post done ad nauseum, I guess nobody has time to read through a thread before posting anymore.
