Group: Cloud Computing, VMware, Virtualization and Enterprise 2.0 Group Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? There are technical aspects as to how Cloud Computing is delivered and there are business benefits to its adoption. The business benefits do not belong in the definition any more than than relative cost of tea vs. other beverages belong in its definition. That being said, I cannot quite understand one's objection to the use of adjectives in describing the attributes of any given thing. It seems to me, it is precisely their function ; to modify and describe in further detail, to enhance understanding. Posted by Jan Klincewicz, MBA
