Group: Cloud Computing, SaaS & Virtualization Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? Well stated Frank especially point 4 current IT skill sets are already obsolete.I feel as though throught out the next year and beyond there is going to be a lot of head scratching in IT as far as what just happened.My prediction skill sets will be in high demand but hard to find.However the history books and solutions represented will prevail due to simple economics and demand.My thoughts on the cloud are this take everything we have come to realize as the norm in IT (bloat,poor end user experience,ridiculous overhead,with little ROI similar to a boat a hole in the water we keep putting money into).and flip it upside down and the head scratching begins.
