Group: Cloud Computing, SaaS & Virtualization Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? Clouds are very exaggerated. Virtualisation comes first, and not many companies gone 100% that way. Than, all the usual gimmicks of xAS , what ever, which is mostly a non-existent thing in a corporate world. It is all driven by companies pushing it, and actually shoving it to your throat. Or to your CIO's throat, and the he/she will some and say, lets do Applications as a Service? Now. But, virtualisation is not done... PaaS, Hybrid, Private, Commodisation, SaaS, more acronyms? Posted by Vladimir Popov
