Group: Cloud Computing, VMware, Virtualization and Enterprise 2.0 Group Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? @Dawn: BTW, I don't mean to sound like such a grump about this, but as you noticed, the length and intensity of this discussion both, in my opinion, exceed what the topic deserves or requires. Yes, it's nice to hear how different people describe Cloud to their workmates (without being too technical.) Funny how we fixate on Cloud and not SQL or RAID controllers, or memory parity, or any of the other various miracles of IT we take for granted each day, which have affected countless lives far more than Cloud has (or perhaps ever will.)
