Group: Cloud Computing, SaaS & Virtualization Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? We know that people already use cloud based emailing and Google application, host their pictures or use Apple cloud service eventualy. I believe concerns that remains are: 1) Ip protection when i am an aerospace engineer working for a defence project for example. 2) Guaranteed accesibility of my cloud based data (we have seen major issues with Microsoft and others recently) 3) the world is not completly connected...specially in Australia. How do i share heavy files with my ecosystem if the bandwith is slow or not working ? I see customers challenging the various offering of private, semi private and public clouds vs local hosted.
