Group: Cloud Computing, SaaS & Virtualization Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? Good question. Just my 2 pence but to me, our customers and our partners cloud is about either: a) Moving data and services out of unsuitable locations like offices - or even god forbid lofts - and into a purpose built facility onto infrastructure that is reliable, functional and backed up or b) Being able to add additional services that would otherwise be cost prohibitive if supplied using more traditional mechanisms Posted by Dermot Reynolds
