Whether you are looking for software, platforms, infrastructure, or workspace; you can have them all as a service now. Cloud services are enabling organizations to maximize IT utilization, while reducing their physical footprint, capital investments, and management associated with internal DCs. The proliferation of cloud is akin to "The Big Switch". Organizations can now acquire computing resources in the same way that they pay for utilities. You can pay for what you use while the power is on (VM active). Many organizations are realizing that they don't need to build power plants (DCs) because they can utilize the power grid (cloud).
