Group: Cloud Computing, SaaS & Virtualization Discussion: How do you explain cloud computing to your colleagues? Nice metaphor, however... usually when you stay in hotels, you have your own place somewhere else, in which your funds dwell in the bricks, or at least a rented apartment. Still staying in hotelrooms every now and then still ads up to more than if you just stayed home. Not that many people live in hotelrooms only, and even if the cost of that would match a rental apartment or realestate monthly cost - when they fix that bathroom, its always in the most flashy common style that makes little people feel tall or the light makes it seem like the blue tiles on the wall are transparent like if they were windows... but they are not, and you dont need to feel tall, or or or... no i like the metaphor, this just struct me - and maybe some of it can be transferred to the cloud as it sits.
